Pavicevich took over as Avtodor’s head coach. The Montenegrin replaced Vidić, who took charge of the club in July

Milos Pavicevich took over as head coach of Saratov “Avtodor”, according to the press service of the basketball club.

The Montenegrin specialist replaced Serbian Neboisha Vidic, whose appointment was announced on July 19. Under his leadership, the club did not play any official matches.

— I am very happy to lead a team with such rich traditions. I would like to thank the management of the Saratov club in the person of Vladimir Rodionov for this opportunity. I took this chance all my life as a basketball player and I will do my best to justify the trust placed in me,” said Pavičević.

In the 2011/12 season, Pavichevich coached Avtodor’s youth team, then the 44-year-old specialist was part of the Samara headquarters and Georgian Vita.

Avtodor will play the first match of the new VTB United League season against Astana on Tuesday.
