The Regatas earned their second win of the season after defeating winless Ferro 71 to 81.
Regatas returned to victory after beating Ferro on Héctor Echart. El Remero was more than his rival and, despite coming back in the second half, he reacted in time to pull away and take the 71-81 victory.
In the early part of the match, Regatas dominated the proceedings and took a 21-42 advantage heading into the long break. Oeste started the second half by gradually getting closer, although the reaction came in the fourth quarter. Ferro was able to cut the gap to just 2 points, but Fantasma reacted quickly and pulled away to end the game.
In the winning team, Selem Safar was the top scorer with 18 points. Andrés Jaime was another standout, with a very complete performance where he added 15 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Xavier Carreras, crucial at the end of the match, finished with 11 points as did McGhee.
Among the locals, Mariano Fierro was the most outstanding with 18 points and 8 rebounds. Emiliano Lezcano was the other one to reach double digits, adding 11 points.
