Dallas star Luka Doncic marked another impressive achievement in the strongest league in the world.
Luka Doncic has had remarkable success in the National Basketball Association. In the game against Phoenix, the Slovenian defender broke the bar of 10,000 points in the NBA – before the start of the match he lacked 11 points. To get the required number of points, Luka needs to spend 7 minutes 8 seconds on the floor.
According to ESPN, Doncic scored 10,000 NBA points in fewer games than any other active player in the league – he did it in his 358th game. That ranking tied him with Hall of Famer Bob McAdoo for seventh overall.
The NBA record holder is Wilt Chamberlain, who played 236 games. Michael Jordan, Oscar Robertson, Elgin Baylor, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and George Gervin scored 10 thousand points faster than Doncic.
At the age of 24 years and 300 days, Doncic became the sixth youngest player to score 10,000 points, behind LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony and Tracy McGrady.
We remind you that Dallas beat Phoenix, and Doncic himself scored 50 points in the match.
