Leo Gutiérrez’s team just beat Riojans who remain in reclassification
The day of the National League closed this Friday with a very close victory of the Bandeño. Olimpico struggled and literally had to wait until the clock hit zero to know he was the winner. Riachuelo de La Rioja dominated the scoreboard for most of the match, but was unable to maintain its advantage at the end. Those led by Leo Gutiérrez won the match 72 to 71 after Nicolás de Los Santos’ last shot missed.
With this result, Olympic pulled away slightly from Instituto and maintained its second place in the table, with a record of 16 wins and 4 losses, just below Quimsa, which now has a record of 19-1. Riachuelo took advantage of Ferro’s fall to stay in 12th place, with a 9-12 record.
