American basketball player CSKA Melo Trimble recounted how he visited Red Square in winter and was unpleasantly surprised by the freezing weather.
— I think that the place where I live in Moscow is pretty good. Nearby there is a grocery store, a shopping center, a hairdresser. Everything is within walking distance. I couldn’t ask for more. I have no complaints about Moscow at all, I really like this place.
Sightseeing is not my thing. I don’t take pictures or anything. So no. I enjoy what I see, even if I forget to take pictures. Before the season, I was so tired, lazy because of training and stuff. And this is the best time to walk around before the weather gets bad. When it’s cold, I don’t want to be outside. Last year, I went to Red Square and it was so cold that I couldn’t enjoy it. It was late December,” Trimble told Championship.
The new season of the VTB United League starts on September 21.
