Point guard for BYU (Brigham Young University) Egor Demine ranked seventh in the 2025 NBA Draft rankings by Sports Channel ESPN .
On Tuesday, Demin, 18, was named the National Collegiate Athletic Association’s (NCAA) Big 12 Conference Rookie of the Week.
Few newcomers have impressed as much as Demin, who demonstrated impressive court vision, shooting prowess and all-around talent against lower-level competition. Demin is on the NBA’s radar and will be closely scrutinized once BYU’s season begins in earnest and his team faces higher-level opponents in late November and early December. Next, we will learn more about his defensive abilities, durability and ability to attack effectively against strong opponents,” ESPN quoted draft expert Jonathan Givony as saying.
Demin graduated from the Moscow Basketball Academy and Real Madrid.
