The Kursk region team defeated the Moscow region team in the bronze medal match of the Spartakiad women’s basketball tournament of the strongest.
The meeting took place on Friday in Moscow. The match ended with the score of 78:69 (19:16, 23:19, 17:11, 19:23) in favor of the Kursk team. The best player among the winners was Elizaveta Shabanova (20 points), Daria Ignatova scored 24 points for the Moscow region team.
The silver and gold winners will be determined in the evening during the match between the teams of Moscow and the Sverdlovsk region.
The All-Russian Spartakiad of summer sports among the strongest athletes will end on October 2.
