Budivelnik lost in overtime Bamberg in the second round of qualification Champions League — 94:97.
The first quarter passed in an equal fight. However, already in the second ten-minute period, the people of Kiev managed to get ahead and go for a long break with a margin of 7 points.
Bamberg added in the third quarter, closing the gap. Nevertheless, at the beginning of the fourth ten-minute period, Budivelnik again achieved an advantage of 8 points. However, it was not possible to save it. The German club was more accurate in the end and played well in defense, which allowed Bamberg to level the score and move the match into overtime.
Now the psychological advantage was on the side of the Germans. Bamberg took the lead. Budivelnik managed to win back the gap in the last seconds and level the score. But in the final attack, Bamberg’s players succeeded in a three-point shot. The German club advances to the final round of qualifying.
