The Brit will have his next fight in 2023.
Former World Heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua named his potential rivals. He is ready to enter the ring against Otto Wallina, Dillian Whyte and Philip Hrgovic.
“Yes, I will fight Otto. Yes, I will fight Dillian. I will fight Hrgovic. I like to fight good opponents. The best of my era.”
“Competing with the best and training with the best has always helped me improve. So yes, I would fight Wallin. He may not be the most popular guy on social media, but he is a solid fighter.”
“I’m not going to sit here and tell you, ‘No, they’re trash.’ I give them the credit they deserve and I will never underestimate anyone I enter the ring with. This is how we should think. Each of us is a serious contender.”
In August, Joshua lost by split decision to Ukrainian boxer, WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk.
AJ wants to enter the ring in his next fight with Dillian Whyte. The fight could take place if White wins over Jermain Franklin.
Anthony has been in talks with WBC champion Tyson Fury for a fight in late 2022. However, the parties could not agree on the final details of the contract, after which Joshua postponed his return to the ring until next year.
Previously, the Briton planned to hold his next fight on December 17th. Potential opponents were Otto Wallin and Chris Arreola.
