Athletistic/ MMA. 44-year-old Brazilian fighter Demian Maia (28-11) believes his compatriot Charles Oliveira (33-8) will be the toughest opponent to unbeaten Russian Khabib Nurmagomedov (29-0).

“They’re both amazing fighters, both modest. It would be a dream fight. Charles is the toughest challenge for Khabib. They have different styles. At the same time, Charles is a bit more interesting in the position, he has great defense on the ground that I consider him to be the greatest fighter in history, but for him it would be a tough fight,” Maya said in an interview with YouTube channel Morning Kombat.

Oliveira’s last fight was with American Justin Gaethje (23-4). The fight ended with an early victory for the Brazilian in the first round.

Nurmagomedov hasn’t played professionally since 2020.
