Usyk’s sparring partner will be Bakole. He helped the Ukrainian to prepare for the first fight with Joshua

Alexander’s revenge with the Briton is scheduled for July

Representatives of the WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk invited a Congolese Martina Bakole to the training camp of the Ukrainian, who is preparing for revenge with Anthony Joshua.

Bakole, 28, was already Usyk’s sparring partner. He helped Alexander prepare for the first fight with Joshua.

“Last week I was contacted about sparring with Martin. I knew this would happen because they were very happy with it the first time. I think Martin gave Usyk the best sparring he’s ever had,” Bakola’s coach Billy Nelson said.

“Usyk and his team respect Bakole’s skills to the point where one of his team members said that Martin would be world champion in the foreseeable future.”

Bakole (18-1, 13 KOs) had his last fight in May. Martin defeated Tony Yoka by majority decision.

The second fight between Usyk and Joshua is scheduled to take place on July 23 in the Middle East. Last fall, the Ukrainian defeated Anthony by unanimous decision and won the WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO heavyweight titles.
