Krasyuk: Who knows what’s in Fury’s head, but I hope we get the biggest fight in history

The promoter noted that everything depends on the decision of the British

Promoter Alexander Krasyuk stated that the fate of the fight between the WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) and the owner of the WBC belt Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) depends on the decision of the British boxer.

“Now history is more on Fury’s side. As he once did not come out for revenge with Wladimir Klitschko, although everything was agreed, the same can happen now.

“Of course, he is already a completely different person, he is interested, he no longer walks downhill. But who knows what is in his head, but we hope that common sense is also there, and by the end of spring we will have the biggest fight in history.

Earlier, Krasyuk said that the best time for Usyk and Fury to fight would be the end of April. Until the New Year, March 4 was considered the most effective date, but now the parties do not have time to prepare a battle for this time.

Promoter Bob Arum said that Usyk wants an equal distribution of income between the boxers in the unification fight with Fury. Arum also clarified that the organizers are waiting for proposals from representatives from the Middle East who wish to accept the fight.
