“I want to get back to a winning streak.” Petr Yan on goals in the fight with Dvalishvili

Former UFC Bantamweight Champion petr yan said that in a battle with a Georgian Merabom Dvalishvili wants to win after two straight losses.

The fight between Jan and Dvalishvili will take place on March 11 in Las Vegas (USA) and will be the main event of the UFC Fight Night 221 tournament.

– I am preparing for the fight, which will take place on March 11 in Las Vegas. I don’t often give interviews.

After the Sean O’Malley fight, I didn’t really feel like fighting for a while. After flying to Thailand to train, I spoke with [моим менеджером] Sayat [Абдрахмановым] on the next fight. Everyone I would like to fight with, top 5 fighters, was busy. Merab is in third place in the standings. I think it will be an interesting fight. I have a fundamental interest in sport. It will be much more professional if I think like that right now. I have to win,” Yang said in an interview with UFC Russia.

– My goal is to win the next fight, and then we’ll see. Maybe another victory will be needed to fight for the title. Let’s see, I won’t guess so much that I want to return to the winning streak, – added Yang.

Jan, 30, has 16 wins and four losses in MMA, losing his last two fights. Dvalishvili, 32, has 15 wins and four losses. He has won eight of his last fights.
