Oleksandr Usyk spoke to Ukrainians on the occasion of the anniversary of the war. First of all, the WBA, WBO, IBA and IBF champion thanked the ZSU and everyone who defended the Motherland from the onslaught of the Kremlin troops. According to the boxer, Ukraine survived the war and will definitely win.
“Dear people of Ukraine, good afternoon. Today is 365 days since the bold invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation. And 365 times the Bible says: “Do not be afraid, for I am with you.”
The Lord said: “The one you hurt will cry and ask for my help. And I will help you. So be afraid of the tears of the one you hurt.”
People of Ukraine, I want to turn to you. I want to thank everyone who stood up for the state – from small to big. Men, women, everyone. The Armed Forces of Ukraine and all law enforcement agencies stand up to protect our state.
We were told that they would take us in three days, that we would not exist. All these are just words. We are standing, we will continue to stand. And we will definitely win.
People of Ukraine, thank God for everything. And glory to Ukraine. You are strength, you are power, you are invincible,” Usyk said.
