Promoter thinks Fury will look for new ways to evade the fight
Alexander Krasyukpromoter of the WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usykexpressed doubt that the undisputed fight with the WBC champion Tyson Fury will take place on April 29th. According to the promoter, the British side is looking for ways to avoid the fight.
“As soon as Usyk accepts the condition that there is no clause on revenge, they will still look for something else to get out of the fight. I tell you why. He bluffed, and Usyk answered his bluff. This is 100 percent. He didn’t expect Usyk to take 70/30.”
“We don’t trust him, we don’t trust him. One more thing to know, when we started negotiations, Fury’s side was the first to ask for a rematch. The Furies were the first to ask for a rematch and we supported that.”
“He just doesn’t want this fight to happen because he knows he’s not ready for it. Only five weeks left, not enough for any real fighter to prepare for the undisputed heavyweight championship.”

Earlier it was reported that Fury suggested that Usyk not include a rematch clause in the unification fight contract. The Ukrainian urged Tyson to sign the contract in its original form, since it was the British side that offered the possibility of revenge.
Recall that Usyk accepted Fury’s offer to split the fee 70/30 with the condition that the Briton donate one million pounds to Ukraine immediately after the fight. The fight for the title of absolute world champion is planned to be held on April 29 at Wembley Stadium.
The boxers informed the WBA about the reached agreement. The association did not oblige Alexander to defend the belt with challenger Daniel Dubois and gave the teams of both champions time to conclude a contract for the fight.
Fury has already opened his training camp to prepare for the fight with the Ukrainian. Usyk is also actively preparing for the fight.
