According to the Ukrainian champion, the Briton is afraid of meeting him
WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO World Champion Oleksandr Usyk candidly commented on the upcoming fight of the WBC world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury with former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou.
“Bullshit. I don’t think about this fight. This is an incredible scam. I don’t think anything about it, about the Greedy Belly either. I do not care”.
“I would like, of course, to box with Fury. But I think he’s a little scared.”
Previously, the “Gypsy King” stated that he would like to fight with the Ukrainian and believes that “it will be an easy fight.”
Recall that the unification fight between Usyk and Fury was scheduled for April 2023, but it did not take place. According to the Gypsy King, this happened because of the financial requirements of the Ukrainian.
The fight between Fury and Ngannou will take place on October 28 in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. The WBC granted Tyson a special permit to fight the former UFC champion.
Usyk’s next fight will be against Briton Daniel Dubois on August 26. The event will take place in Wroclaw, Poland, at the Tarczynski Arena. It was reported that the Ukrainian will receive 75% of the total prize fund – $6 million. Dubois can count on 25% – 2 million.
