The Investigative Committee of the Moscow region opened a criminal case into the death of a 17-year-old boy during boxing training in Vidnoye, the press service of the department reports on the Telegram channel.
According to the investigation, on September 1, 2023, a minor, while on the territory of the stadium of the city of Vidnoye, carried out training using
means of protection, entered into combat with another minor. Practicing boxing and punching technique, without injury, the teenager lost his balance and fell on his back on a metal fence, after which he fell on the artificial surface of the treadmill, where he died without regain consciousness.
Investigators have opened criminal proceedings under the article “Causing death by negligence”, a set of investigative actions is underway aimed at establishing the circumstances and causes of the incident. Interviews were conducted and a forensic examination was scheduled.
