Athletistic/MMA. Russian UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev responded to the comments of blogger Dani Milokhin, who said that he could fight with one of the brothers of the former champion of the American promotion Khabib Nurmagomedov. Makhachev said this in interview with Vadim Tikhomirov.
“The man said that to hype up. If he had just named a fighter, then no one would have paid attention. And you shouldn’t even think about calling out Khabib’s brother.
How would, say, Milokhin’s fight with Hasbik end? Someone would end up in the hospital (Laughs). One hundred percent it would be Milokhin. It will be difficult for Hasbik to get back up,” Mikhachev said.
Islam Makhachev will face current UFC featherweight champion, Australian Alexander Volkanovski, on October 21. Their rematch will take place at UFC 294 in Abu Dhabi (UAE).
