Russian boxer Sharabutdin Ataev defeated the representative of Tajikistan Azizbek Abdugofurov at the IBA Champions’ Night tournament in Tajikistan.
The fight took place in Dushanbe, the judge ended the fight early after the fifth round, Abdugofurov’s seconds refused to continue the fight. The Russian won by technical knockout.
For Atayev, this victory was the sixth of his career; Abdugofurov suffered his second defeat in the professional arena.
