British boxer Tyson Fury refused to answer the question of whether his fight with Ukrainian Alexander Usyk would take place in December.
It was previously reported that Usyk and Fury had signed a contract for the fight, but there was no official announcement of the date and location of the meeting. Fury defeated Francis Ngannou in a boxing match on Sunday night. Fury won by split decision. At the end of the third round, Ngannou knocked down Fury. After the fight, event host Josh Denzel asked Fury if the fight with Usyk would take place on December 23.
– Listen, I’m going home now. I spent 12 weeks in training camp. Now I will go home and rest for a long time, and then we will see what happens next,” Fury said after the fight with Ngannou.
Ukrainian boxer Usik attended the fight between Fury and Ngannou in Saudi Arabia. If the fight between Fury and Usik takes place, the absolute heavyweight champion of the world will be determined.
