Johnson was granted Russian citizenship by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday. The American addressed Putin on April 1, 2023, asking him to obtain a Russian passport. Earlier it was reported that the 44-year-old boxer submitted the necessary documents to Samara and chose his middle name Vladimirovich. On Thursday, Johnson received a Russian passport.

And I’m like, I love it.
