Boxer who received a Russian passport Kevin Johnson talked about learning the Russian language.
Johnson was granted Russian citizenship by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday. The American addressed the head of state on April 1, 2023 to ask him to obtain a Russian passport. Kevin received the document himself in Moscow on January 11.
— Are you planning to study Russian?
— I’m going to school now. Yes. I’m good at teaching, but I’m still bad at writing. But I can learn. I’ve been doing this for a little over a few weeks. We need to spend more time on this. I think next week I will start spending two hours a day learning the language. I have a wonderful and beautiful Russian teacher, her name is Victoria! “She helps me a lot,” reports Johnson as saying.
In the professional ring, Johnson has 35 victories, 21 defeats and two draws.
