Russian mixed martial arts fighter Umar Nurmagomedov defeated a Kazakh Bekzat Almahan at UFC Fight Night 238 in Las Vegas.
The bantamweight fight lasted all three rounds and ended with Nurmagomedov winning by unanimous decision. Today, the 28-year-old Russian has 17 victories in 17 fights. UFC debutant Almakhan suffered his second defeat in professional mixed martial arts with 11 victories.
In the main fight of the evening, the representative of Bahrain, Shamil Gaziev, was defeated by the Surinamese Jairzinho Rozenstruik. The heavyweight fight ended with Rozenstruik winning by technical knockout. Gaziev did not reach the fifth round due to an eye injury.
