The former legendary American boxer did not want the Briton to give up on the Ukrainian.
Tyson Fury must defeat Oleksandr Usik in the fight for the title of absolute champion of the world. This is what former legendary boxer Roy Jones thinks.
The American really wants to see the confrontation between Fury and Joshua, and the loss of the WBC title holder from the Ukrainian will significantly reduce interest in such a fight.
“We all want to see the Fury-Joshua fight, and I wouldn’t want Tyson to lose to Oleksandr Usyk before that. I don’t think Tyson wants it either, he will return to his best form and should win. I don’t I thought the Ukrainian would beat Fury because of the size difference,” Jones told Boxing Social.
We remind you that the fight between Usik and Fury is scheduled for May 18 in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh.
Previously, Dereck Chisora explained why Fury is afraid to fight Usyk.
