In June, Daniel became the owner of the WBA Regular heavyweight belt.
WBA Regular heavyweight title holder Daniel Dubois said he wants to fight next Derek Chisora or Dillian Whyte. The boxer noted that the fight against a well-known opponent will allow him to take the next step in his career.
“In the next fight, I want to take a step forward. I want to fight a real fighter, take a real test. Derek Chisora, Dillian Whyte – next I need to fight these guys. This is the next step in my career,” said Dubois.
“It really sets me up for the fight, for the fight. I’ll test my jaw. I will give the people what they want to see – the spectacle. If you can arrange these fights, then it will be great.”
Dubois last fought in June. Daniel defeated Trevor Bryan by technical knockout in the fourth round and became the new owner of the WBA (Regular) championship belt.
Chisora defeated Kubrat Pulev by split decision in July. White lost to Tyson Fury by TKO in the sixth round for the WBC heavyweight title in April.
