Georgian boxer Lasha Guruli refused a joint photo with the winners of the European Championship, including the Russian Tarkhan Idigova .
On Sunday in Belgrade, Idigov defeated Guruli ahead of schedule and won the gold medal of the European Championship in the weight category up to 67 kg. Guruli refused to continue the fight after the second round.
At the award ceremony, the representative of Georgia removed his medal, after which he shook hands with everyone, including Idigov, and did not take a joint photo with all the winners .
Idigov and Guruli met in the quarterfinals of the World Championship in Tashkent, when the Georgian boxer was stronger.
The Russian team participates in the European Championships with national symbols in accordance with the decision of the International Boxing Association (IBA).
