Russian Tatiana Minina won a gold medal at the European Taekwondo Championships, which are held in Belgrade.
In the final match in the weight category up to 53 kg, Minina defeated the Turkish representative Zeynep Tashkin.
Minina is 27 years old and has become a four-time European champion. Previously, the Russian athlete won the European Championship in 2016, 2018 and 2021. Additionally, Minina won silver at the 2020 Olympics and two silver medals at the World Championships.
Russian athletes participate in the tournament in neutral status. The European Championship will last until May 12.
