Usik said if he will retire after the fight with Fury

The Ukrainian world boxing champion named the main parts of his motivation in sports.

WBO, WBA and IBF world heavyweight champion Ukrainian Alexander Usik says he has no plans to retire in the near future.

According to the Ukrainian, regardless of the outcome of the fight with WBC title holder Briton Tyson Fury, he will be boxing for about three more years.

“I will continue to practice boxing. Maybe three more years. My motivation for performing is discipline, family, fans. I appreciate the support of my people and Ukrainian soldiers.

We can do better by working hard. My greatest achievement was yet to come. This will happen when my soul is taken to heaven,” Boxing Scene quotes Usik as saying.

We remind you that the fight between Usik and Fury will take place on May 18 in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh.

Earlier, Usyk and Fury held an open training session before the fight.
