Alexander Usik has entered the list of the most famous boxers of all time. Well-known trainer Teddy Atlas thinks so.
According to the American specialist, the absolute champion in the two heaviest divisions achieved all his victories thanks to his incredible character.
“Usyk’s strongest attribute is his personality, his inner core.
He will never be on the list of the greatest heavyweight punchers or the fastest heavyweights in the world, but for me he is already on the list of the best of all time,” Atlas was quoted as saying by Pro Boxing Fans.
Let’s remember that Usik’s victory over Fury brought him the absolute heavyweight championship. The fight went all 12 rounds. Usyk won by split decision – 115:112, 114:112, 113:114.
It was previously reported that Usik was suspended from boxing after the fight with Fury.
