The Croatian is ready for a fight against Daniel
Mandatory challenger for IBF title Filip Hrgovic (17-0, 14 KOs) turned to the British heavyweight Daniel Dubois (20-2, 19 KOs).
“I see big biceps, but I don’t see big balls. You don’t fight with your biceps. You fight with your balls and your heart.”
“I can’t wait for the fight. I want you to be serious so that I can conquer you. You should be aggressive. You need to go forward – I will conquer you and you will fall asleep,” Hrgovic said.
The fight between Hrgovic and Dubois will take place on June 1 in Saudi Arabia. Also as part of a large-scale boxing evening, a fight between Deontay Wilder and Zhang Zhilei will take place. The main event of the event on June 1 will be a fight for the title of absolute world light heavyweight champion between WBO title holder Dmitry Bivol and WBC, WBO and IBF champion Artur Beterbiev.
Dubois knocked out Jarrell Miller in December 2023, and Hrgovic defeated Mark De Mori from Australia by technical knockout in the first round at the same boxing evening in Riyadh.
