Russian UFC fighter Nikita Krylov told that he no longer feels as much discomfort in his shoulder as before and can begin preparing for the fight in two to three weeks.
Krylov, 33, has fought 18 fights in the UFC and currently sits sixth in the light heavyweight division with a three-fight winning streak. In the summer of 2023, during a training camp with Fedor Emelianenko’s team, Krylov suffered a serious shoulder injury and was forced to undergo surgery, which resulted in the fighter’s performance hiatus of more than 15 months.
“In the last few weeks I was at home, doing nothing, and I began to notice that I felt like my shoulder had finally recovered. And I don’t feel as much discomfort as before. Now I want to come to Moscow, work out for a week so that my muscles tone up. And next week, try to go to Tver to see your coach. Spend a week or two there and add applied training. If at the end of these two or three weeks there is a positive result, then we will start a dialogue with the matchmakers and try to get some kind of fight,” Krylov told .
