FBU received additional accreditation
Head coach of the Ukrainian boxing team Dmitry Sosnovsky will go to Olympic Games 2024 together with the team. The Boxing Federation of Ukraine managed to agree on additional coaching accreditation.
Let us recall that, according to the rules of the International Olympic Committee, the number of accreditations for the coaching staff is 50% of the number of licenses for athletes.
Two coaches were supposed to go to Paris together with three Ukrainian athletes (Alexander Khizhnyak, Dmitry Lovchinsky and Ayder Abduraimov). At first, the FBU managed to agree on four accreditations – for three personal coaches (Alexander Khizhnyak, Alexander Polischuk, Sergey Danilchenko) and one doctor (Maxim Maslyany). Now Sosnovsky has also joined the delegation.
Ukraine will be represented in Paris by 140 athletes in 23 sports. This is the smallest representation of the blue and yellows during their participation in the Olympics.
The 2024 Summer Olympics will be held in France from July 26 to August 11. The competition will feature 329 sets of medals in 32 sports.
