A new date has been set for the Australian’s fight Robert Whittaker And Khamzata Chimaeva representing the United Arab Emirates, reports the UFC press service.
Whittaker and Chimaev will meet in the co-main event of UFC 308, which takes place on October 26 in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The fight between the fighters was supposed to headline the UFC tournament in Saudi Arabia on June 22, but Khamzat was unable to compete due to illness. Chimaev, 30, has been competing in the UFC since 2020 and is on a seven-fight winning streak.
