The Ukrainian WBO, WBA, WBC and IBO heavyweight champion only wants to fight Tyson Fury.
Oleksandr Usik commented on his rejection of the IBF belt, which saved the Briton Tyson Fury from the opportunity to take revenge for the title of absolute champion, which the Ukrainian won in May of this year.
According to the boxer, he just wants a rematch against Fury, and if he is to retain the title, he will have to defend it against Daniel Dubois.
“There’s no fair or foul here. It’s all professional. We can fight and keep that belt, but I still have to defend it against Dubois or Anthony Joshua – I don’t remember who’s next. We play like and should be,” Usik was quoted as saying by SecondsOut Boxing News.
We remind you that the Usyk-Fury rematch is scheduled for December 21 in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh.
Earlier, Usik spoke about the hard punch he received from Fury in the first fight.
