Krasyuk: Even before the foundation of his foundation, Usyk did a lot with his own money

Alexander Krasyukpromoter of the WBO, WBA and IBF heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs), told how the boxer helps Ukraine and how much money will be collected during the broadcast of his rematch with Anthony Joshua.

Therefore, in the language of Aesop, I will try to explain what is meant. Usyk founded a foundation that is actively working and helping directly Ukraine and all those in need of help. Even before the founding of the fund, so much was done with its own funds, but no one will ever know about this from Usyk.”

“During the fight, all the funds of our partners and sponsors that we collect, and who will be partners of this broadcast on all platforms, go to Usyk’s fund. All proceeds go to charity. Also, throughout the broadcast, a QR code will be applied – all viewers will be able to contribute to help. Just by scanning the QR code, going to the fund’s page, make a contribution – as much as you can.”

“Only God knows how much we will raise funds. But I can definitely say that this is a powerful project. It’s not just sports and broadcasting. This is the initiative of the champion to help his country, his Motherland.”

The second fight between Usyk and Joshua will take place on August 20 in Saudi Arabia.

In Ukraine, the broadcast of the Usyk-Joshua rematch will be hosted by the MEGOGO media service. Oleksandr personally purchased the rights to broadcast his fight with AJ in order to transfer them to Ukrainian broadcasters for free.

Last fall, Usyk defeated Joshua by unanimous decision to become world heavyweight champion for the first time.
