Sports director of the league “Our Business” Gulyan named possible rules of the fight with vice-president ASA Badaev

Russian sports official and former MMA fighter Armen Gulyan, in an interview with , explained what the rules might be for his fight against ASA Vice President Aslanbek Badaev.

Gulyan, 33, had his last MMA fight in 2019. In total, he has had nine fights in his career and won them all. Currently, Gulyan serves as the sports director of the “Our Business” league. Last week, on his Telegram channel, Gulyan said that he would consider the possibility of organizing a wrestling match with ASA Vice President Badaev.

— Under what rules would you like to fight Aslanbek Badaev?

– In the grips. Eight minutes. No restrictions on painful holds under submission rules only without scoring points. The fun value of combat is simply appreciated: techniques, attacks. Because the positional struggle in a fight like ours with Aslanbek is not interesting. I would focus on finishing the fight in style. Although Aslanbek indicated in a personal conversation that he would like our fight to take place without twisting its heels. But that doesn’t interest me yet.

— Do you need some kind of fee to appear or can this be done for zero rubles, because, in fact, one of you will be the organizer anyway?

– No, I am not ready to fight for zero rubles, because some conditions were announced last time. I represent my media resource, I have my status as promoter and sports director. And I understand that thanks to me there will be some attention to this fight, but I will not break the fee, it will be a beneficial story for whoever organizes our fight. At the same time, if we don’t find a site where we can keep it, then we will create this site ourselves,” Gulyan told .
