Russian fighter Rinat Fakhretdinov defeated Brazilian Carlos Leal at UFC 308 in Abu Dhabi (UAE).
The Russian won the preliminary card by unanimous decision.
Initially, Fakhretdinov’s opponent was supposed to be an Uzbek fighter Nursulton Ruziboev, but due to injury he was forced to withdraw from the fight.
Fakhretdinov has not lost in mixed martial arts since June 2013. In total, the fighter fought 25 fights during his career, in which he had 23 victories, one defeat and one draw.
Carlos Leal Miranda received his first UFC contract. For the Brazilian welterweight, this fight marked his debut in the organization.
