Russian freestyle wrestler Magomed Magomaev reached the final of the World Championships taking place in Tirana.
Magomaev, competing in the weight category up to 79 kg, defeated the representative of Slovakia Akhsarbek Gulaev in the semifinals – 9:3.
In the final, the Russian’s opponent will be the Georgian Avtandil Kenchadze.
Another Russian freestyle wrestler Inalbek Sheriev (up to 70 kg) will take part in the fight for bronze, Zaur Uguev (up to 61 kg) will take part in the repechage.
The World Championships in non-Olympic weight categories will end on October 31, the Russians will compete in neutral status.
