The parties are positively disposed to agree on the details of the fight
Promoter Eddie Hearn said that between representatives of the ex-world champion Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs) and WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs) resumed negotiations on a face-to-face fight.
“We received the contract a couple of days ago. It wasn’t what we expected. However, we resumed negotiations again and now everything is going well.”
“No one is against the fight [Фьюри — Джошуа]. We have a chance to do something special. When we received the contract, it had distribution [гонораров] 90/10. But now we are determined to make this fight happen.”
Fury twice reached out to Joshua via social media and offered him a fight. Anthony accepted Fury’s offer.
Joshua also agrees to a 60/40 distribution of the fee to the reigning world champion. Boxers are considering three dates for the fight – November 26, December 3 and December 17.
