Samurai broke a 9-match losing streak in confrontations with “Born to Win”
Ukrainian esports organization Natus Vincere was defeated by G2 Esports in the grand final of the tournament BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2024 By Counter-Strike 2.
In the final match, NAVI lost with a score of 1:3 (Ancient – 9:13, Dust II – 11:13, Mirage – 13:11, Inferno – 7:13). Interestingly, G2 broke a 9-match losing streak in matches with Born to Win, achieving their first victory in this confrontation since February 2023.
This is G2 Esports’ second trophy in 2024. In June, Samurai became the champions of Intel Extreme Masters Dallas 2024.
For winning BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2024, G2 earned 200 thousand dollars, NAVI received 85 thousand. Note that both teams will play at BLAST Premier: World Final 2024 in Singapore in October-November.
The BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2024 tournament was held in Copenhagen from September 25 to 29. The prize fund is $425 thousand.
