In a commentary for Sport Arena, Artem Dovbik’s manager Oleksiy Lundovsky confirmed the information of the Italian media about the visit of the Ukrainian striker to Torino.
– Artem, together with his wife Yulia and a representative of our company ALIK FOOTBALL Management, in agreement with the leadership of Dnepr-1, visited Turin. They got acquainted with the infrastructure of Torino, attended the match with the participation of this team,” said Lundovsky.
– To consider Torino as the main contender for Dovbik, and the transfer as approaching the finish line?
– We can say that Torino shows great interest in Artem. This club really wants to see Dovbik at the forefront of attacks. Croatian specialist Ivan Jurich, who heads Torino, is constantly in contact with his countryman Igor Jovicevich, the head coach of Dnipro-1. It is still too early to talk about this transfer as having happened, but I can say that the transfer is at an advanced stage. Also, other Italian clubs do not leave attempts to sign Artem, and there is still interest from the Premier League of England.
– When can we expect specifics regarding the transfer of Dovbik?
– This is a negotiation process, as a result of which two clubs and Artem Dovbik personally should reach an agreement. If all parties are satisfied, then we will announce the transfer as completed. I can confirm once again: Artem Dovbik’s desire is to play in one of the top European championships. His team is working on this together with SC Dnepr-1.
