The mentor simultaneously works as the head coach of the youth team of Ukraine
Alexandria officially announced the appointment Ruslana Rotanya as head coach of the team.
The terms of the agreement and the duration of the contract with the Ukrainian specialist were not disclosed. It is also not yet known who will join Rotan’s coaching staff.
In the new position, the coach replaced Yuri Guru, who had been in charge of Alexandria since May 2021 and was fired at the end of the first part of the season. It was reported that Chernomorets midfielder Sergei Kravchenko, who is ready to end his professional career as a player, will come to Oleksandria along with Rotan.
It should be noted that Rotan now also leads the youth team of Ukraine, with which he will perform at the U-21 European Championship in the summer of 2023.
Oleksandriya takes the fifth place in the championship of Ukraine. In the next match, the Citizens will play against Dnepr-1. The base game date is March 4th.
