If the Gunners fail to negotiate with Shakhtar, then Chelsea is ready to enter into negotiations
Second offer Arsenal by Shakhtar winger Mikhail Mudrik is about 50 million euros guaranteed payments plus bonuses.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the clubs continue negotiations and Shakhtar will soon make a decision. Arsenal have already agreed with the player on the terms of a personal contract. If the transition does not take place, then Chelsea is ready to enter into negotiations with the Pitmen.
Earlier it was reported that Arsenal’s second offer for Mudrik totaled less than 70 million euros.
The miners rejected the Gunners’ first request, which included 40 million euros plus 20 million in various bonuses. Shakhtar are now considering a second offer from Arsenal.
This season, Mikhail played in 18 matches for Shakhtar, scoring 10 goals and providing eight assists.
The Gunners lead the Premier League with a seven-point lead over nearest rival Manchester City. In the next match, the team of Ukrainian Oleksandr Zinchenko will host Newcastle on January 3.
