PSG head coach Christoph Galtier commented defeat in the first leg of the 1/8 finals of the Champions League against Bayern (0:1).
“The first hour of the game was hard for us, the opponents deprived us of the ball and controlled everything, put pressure. We expected this. They suspected that they would create a very high pressure, and they did.
“After the goal we conceded, we had 25-30 good minutes. Kylian’s contribution after coming on as a substitute was noticeable, he helped Neymar and Messi. Nuno Mendes also showed himself well, such activity was not enough on the right flank. We created 2-3 chances, but this, unfortunately, was not enough.
“The last 25 minutes give hope. I hope that in three weeks we will be able to return the freshness and we will count on all the players.”
The return match between PSG and Bayern will take place in Munich on March 8.
