Midfielder “Barcelona » Gavi kicked out of the main squad due to his registration as a first-team player being canceled by the Commercial Court, according to Mundo Deportivo.
In January, La Liga informed the Catalan club that they could not register Gavi as a first-team player due to regulations violations. In September, the midfielder extended his contract with Barcelona until 2026 after which he was transferred to the Blue Garnet first team.
According to the source, the court overturned his registration as Barcelona filed a complaint a day late. So, as of Friday, the 18-year-old is not included in the first-team bid and will be announced for Barcelona youth again.
Gavi has made 36 appearances for Barcelona this season, scoring two goals and providing five assists.
