Athletistic/ Football. Former Russian national team player Andrei Kanchelskis has made it clear he is surprised by the RPL’s decision to recognize striker Artyom Dzyuba as the league’s best player in March.
According to Kanchelskis, Dziuba, after a long break, could not yet have time to acquire maximum condition, and therefore the award received by the striker indicates low competition in the Russian championship.
“The fact that Dzyuba hasn’t trained and can come and be the best is the level of our championship. Maybe we have to think about what we do next,” Kanchelskis said as quoted by SE .
