Chelsea close to destination Frank Lampard acting head coach until the end of this season.
The 44-year-old coach will work with the Blues until the summer. Until that time, the leadership of the Londoners will work out options with a new head coach.
During his playing career, Lampard defended the colors of Chelsea for 13 years – from 2001 to 2014. From 2019 to January 2021, he worked as the head coach of the London club.

Chelsea have sacked Graham Potter as head coach. The Blues’ interim head coach will be Potter’s assistant Bruno Saltor.
German specialist Julian Nagelsmann remains the main favorite for the vacant post at the London club. The Blues are also considering the option of appointing Luis Enrique. The club is not in talks with Roberto De Zerbi, Luciano Spalletti or Tite, who have also been linked to the team.
Chelsea are 11th in the Premier League with 39 points. In the next match, the team of Ukrainian Mykhailo Mudrik will play with Wolverhampton on April 8.
