Atalanta beat Roma in the home match of the 31st round Serie A – 3:1.
The Bergamasks opened the scoring at the end of the first half, with the ball scored by Duvan Zapata Mario Pasalic. After the break, defender Rafael Toloi extended his lead to two goals.
Lorenzo Pellegrini managed to win back one ball after a pass from Andrea Belotti. However, a minute later, Ten Koopmeiners again returned the two-goal lead to Atalanta.
The Bergamaschi are seventh in Serie A with 52 points. Atalanta will face Torino on 29 April next.
Roma are in fifth place with 56 points. Note that the fight with Atalanta was the jubilee, hundredth match of Jose Mourinho as head coach of the Wolves. In the next round, Roma will face Milan on April 29.
