Midfielder Bulgaria national team on football Todor Nedelev has successfully undergone surgery for a head injury sustained as a result of an accident in Georgia, according to the Bulgarian Football Union (BFS) website.
Earlier it was reported that the bus with the players of the Bulgarian team had an accident on the way to the hotel in Tbilisi. Nedelev has undergone surgery and will remain under the supervision of local doctors, as well as national team doctor Bisser Bochev.
– The Bulgarian Football Union and the national team headquarters express their deep gratitude to all medical workers, to the representatives of the Bulgarian Embassy in Georgia, as well as to the entire leadership of the Georgian FA of football. All other Bulgarian national team players and staff are healthy.
The Bulgarian national team will play with the Georgian team in the Nations League on Sunday, the match will be held in Tbilisi.
