Athletistic/Football. Former Dynamo coach Miodrag Bozovic has spoken about his views on why Spartak rarely wins in the RPL. The last time Spartak became Russian champions was in the 2016/17 season.
Bozhovich said that Spartak, being the most famous and popular club in Russia, should win the championship at least once every two or three years, given the support and the importance of the population. However, the team wins very few games, despite having so many people supporting it, and also spending a huge amount of energy supporting the team.
Bozovic believes the reason lies in Spartak’s management. He notes that despite the fact that the RPL has been around for many years, Spartak hasn’t been able to achieve the results expected by the fans.
